Experts in Mental Capacity

TSF specialise in mental capacity assessments in England and Wales. We remain true to our core belief that every person has the right to achieve all they can mentally, physically, spiritually and culturally.

We have a very strong team of expert Mental Capacity Assessors who are either health or social care professionals and are recognised by the Court of Protection and the Office of the Public Guardian.

We only specialise in the assessment of mental capacity which means we have become innovators in the field. We have established a number of unique processes that enable us to identify the threshold of understanding and associated question set for every decision we assess. And we have our own unique internal quality governance team whose sole purpose is to ensure our assessments and outcomes are of the highest quality.

We are acutely aware that the assessment process can appear confusing and that you want the process to be as simple as possible. That is why we have a team of dedicated Client Liaison Officers who will see your case through from start to finish.

Grandpa on a Skateboard (3rd edition)

Written by Tim Farmer

‘Grandpa on a Skateboard’ is the first practical book for health and legal professionals that simplifies and explains the assessment process. Through the use of real life case studies and by providing clear, jargon-free guidance, it demystifies the assessment process and answers questions that other literature on the topic does not address.

Available to purchase in many online book retailers.
